Children ages birth to 18 months and a favorite adult will hear stories, rhymes, and songs during this interactive program. This program gives your child the opportunity to hear diverse vocabulary while you get to know other families.

Grab a friend and head to the library to make cool art and eat snacks! This month we will learn how to make a faux stained glass image in a picture frame. This program is for ages 10 and older – including adults!

Want to learn how to play the ukulele? Join librarian Ben every other Tuesday to work on chords, exercises, and songs all geared toward beginners. If you are brand new to the instrument consider arriving early for help with tuning your uke.

Meet Diane Wilson, author of the 2026 Dubuque County Reads book selection, "The Seed Keeper," on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. This free event will be held at Steeple Square and is open to the public.

Join us as we welcome a Dubuque County Conservation naturalist to tell us all about turtles. Our guests will include a box turtle, a painted turtle and a map turtle.

Library board meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month (except for November and December) at 4 p.m. in the Lacy Board Room, located on the third floor of the library.

Hearth & Page Society - come craft, chat and talk books. We have supplies for Book Blinging, so feel free to bring your favorite books to bling. Put together a puzzle or just hang out. Light snacks and drinks provided. For adults 18+.

Do you enjoy watching movies? Come to the library each month to watch a movie based on a book! Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite blankets, pillows, and stuffed friends, and enjoy some popcorn!
