Worm Composting with DMASWA

Learn how you can compost year round inside your home and become a worm farmer! This family-friendly, hands-on workshop will be presented by experts from the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency.

Participants will build their own worm bin to take home and make into a family project. Red Wiggler worms, a composting bin, and other set up supplies will be provided and instructions will be given to create a healthy habitat for the worms to eat your food scraps and reduce your carbon footprint.

Space and supplies will be limited, and registration is required. Only one worm composting bin per household, though you are welcome to bring the whole family! Only one registration is required per household, but please include the number of people who will be attending from your household.
