Who Picked This Book? Book Club: Cherish Farrah by Bethany C. Morrow

Who Picked This Book? is a bi-monthly book club, typically meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. November’s book is Cherish Farrah by Bethany C. Morrow. Being faced with her home's foreclosure, Farrah, one of only two black girls in a wealthy gated community, manipulates her way into her friends' household where she starts noticing strange things happening and her suspicion of the seemingly perfect family grows. Morrow captures the sister-like closeness of the girls and the disturbing games they play, as well as Farrah's desperation to keep things from changing. The shocking ending to this suspenseful novel with a masterfully drawn narrative voice will leave readers breathless.
