Event Details

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library and the Breezy Ridge Quilters, one of the Northeastern Iowa chapters of the Quilts of Valor® (QOV) Foundation, invite the public to a ceremony honoring local veterans with comforting and healing quilts on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. This year marks the first time that all honorees are women veterans or service members that have been touched by war.

The public may also view a collection of quilts made by the Breezy Ridge Quilters of the Quilts of Valor® Foundation in the third-floor rotunda from Tuesday, Oct. 24 until Thursday, Nov. 2, during regular library hours.

Seating is limited and priority will be given to the veterans and their family members.
