Speaking in front of a crowd often ranks among many people’s worst fears. David Lopez will share tools you can employ to feel more confident. He’ll also discuss how to make your presentation engaging, give tips on using visuals and PowerPoint, and introduce methods for improvisational speaking. Public speaking is a powerful life skill to develop no matter what your background.  

David Lopez is Vice-President of Education for Speakeasy, the Dubuque club of Toastmasters International, an educational nonprofit that teaches public speaking and leadership skills.

No registration is required to attend this program in person. A virtual option is also available; to attend virtually, please register on this page. Registrants will receive an email with the Zoom link a couple of hours before the start of the program.
