Carnegie-Stout Public Library welcomes Barefoot & Sunshine for the November Music @ your library concert. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert goes from 6 to 7:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Adults age 21+ may bring their own wine or beer.

Barefoot and Sunshine is an Americana/Roots group that's been sharing their music full-time since 2021. Dean Mattoon and Esmé Alexis blend style and voice, with melodic electric guitar and vocal harmonies. They write songs with great meaning to them touching on death, goodbyes, the way they wish things were, and a few good times along the way. They’ll be joined by BJ Kilburg on drums.

Dean and Esmé, both originally from Iowa, formed in New Orleans mid-pandemic and have been traveling across the states as a duo, living out of a little white schoolbus. They now perform as a 3-piece band and are semi-rooted in the wooded hills of Eastern Iowa overlooking the Mississippi River.

Music @ your library® is a First Fridays concert series that features local and regional musicians.
