Carnegie-Stout Public Library is pleased to welcome Kurt Ullrich, newspaper columnist and photographer, as he talks about his latest publication "Notes from Rural America". The Telegraph Herald has been publishing articles written by Ullrich for about 25 years. Ullrich's articles, often accompanied by his photographs, have been published in many newspapers including the Chicago Tribune, Des Moines Register, and the Baltimore Sun.

Amy Gilligan, Telegraph Herald Executive Editor, will moderate a Q&A with Mr. Ullrich. All ages are welcome to attend, children must be accompanied by an adult. "Notes from Rural America" will be available to purchase and Mr. Ullrich will be signing copies.
