Are you interested in going on a book adventure?  We will use a recent title as a springboard for our deep dive into a topic or place.

May 10  Lion Lights by Richard Turere – Learn all about the Massai tribe from Kenya and Tanzania and make a warrior’s necklace.

June 28  Curious Cases: True Crime for Kids by Rebecca Valley – Learn several fingerprinting techniques, then try out your new detective skills at home.

July 26  Anna’s Kokeshi Dolls by Tracy Gallup – Konichiwa! Learn how to say a few phrases in Japanese while making a kokeshi doll to adorn your room.

August 30  Super Slime by Sophie Parkes – Are you ready to slime? Let’s goo! Learn how to prepare, how to stay safe, and how to have fun making slime. You’ll leave with some recipes to try at home.
