Travel through history along one of the state's earliest roads with historian and documentary filmmaker Russ Fry. Fry will lecture and present his film Agency Road: From Burlington to the Indian Territory. In 1839, congress authorized two federal roads in the Iowa territory. The documentary takes its name from the road that ran from Burlington to the Sauk and Meskwaki Indian agency (near Ottumwa). Fry will also discuss the other road which ran from Dubuque to the Missouri border.

Russ Fry, MA, is a historian from Burlington, Iowa. He has written 13 books and directed 10 documentaries on Iowa history.
