Family Literacy Month Children’s Book Swap: DROP OFF

Ages: 0 - 18 yrs

Starting Wednesday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 15, patrons can bring in new or gently used books to the Children’s Help Desk to participate in a Children’s Book Swap to be held on Saturday, November 18.

Come & refresh your child's personal library! Books should be for ages 0-18. Patrons are welcome to bring graphic novels, board books, picture books, fiction and nonfiction chapter books to participate in the Book Swap. However, participants should refrain from bringing in heavily damaged items, workbooks, or coloring books. For example: A copy of “Charlotte’s Web” that was purchased and read recently is fine, but not your childhood copy of “Charlotte’s Web.” For every book brought in, participants will receive one “book buck” to use at the Book Swap. Participants can stop by the library on Saturday, November 18 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. to shop for new-to-them books with their ticket!
