Carnegie-Stout Public Library welcomes author Tom Montgomery Fate for a book reading and signing of his latest title The Long Way Home: Detours and Discoveries.
Tom Fate is a professor emeritus at College DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where he taught creative writing and literature courses for more than 30 years. The Long Way Home is a travel memoir that includes memories of his time spent in Maquoketa, Iowa. It is his sixth work of creative nonfiction.
