Pet lovers and comic readers save the date! Award-winning comic creator Lucy Knisley is visiting Dubuque! Join Carnegie-Stout to celebrate her latest release, Woe, a collection of her comics featuring her beloved and dramatic cat Linney.

The event will include a musical presentation by Lucy, author Q & A, and a book signing. Attendees will have a chance to win a custom pet portrait drawn by Lucy Knisley! Information will be available from the Dubuque Regional Humane Society and Whispurring Hope on how you can support local adoptable pets. River Lights will have copies of Lucy's books available for purchase at this event.

Lucy Knisley is the critically acclaimed, award-winning, New York Times bestselling comics creator of Relish and Kid Gloves. She lives in Chicago with her husband and son. She specializes in personal, confessional graphic novels and travelogues. The Peapod Farms books are Lucy’s first graphic novels for kids.
