Art @ your library® Show Opens today with a Reception for the Artists in the second floor rotunda from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. featuring three talented local artists John Bly, Mary Lee Marting, and Robert Valentine. Jewelry Maker Marting shares her gemstone and cultured pearl made jewelry. Mixed Media Artist Bly shares his beautiful nature themed paintings.  Acrylic Painter Valentine shares his meaningful abstract paintings full of color. Meet the artists and shop for a unique gift while supporting local artists.  Music provided by the faculty of Northeast Iowa School of Music. Refreshments provided by the Carnegie-Stout Public Library Foundation. 

The Library is celebrating Art @ your library® by featuring unique local exhibits. The first Friday of every other month there is an art show opening that features two dimensional and three dimensional artists for a display in the historic rotunda area. The art is on display for up to two months. This free exhibit is open to the pubic during Library hours.
