Program Description

Event Details

Join us twice a month on Friday mornings at the Dubuque Arboretum for an outdoor library program. From music to science and even dog tricks, this is the place for family educational fun. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and masks. Social distancing is requested. These programs are located at and sponsored by the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. No rain dates. If it rains, join us on the Carnegie-Stout Public Library Facebook page for a virtual program.

Absolute Science is an amazingly fun and educational program designed to encourage children of all ages to become engaged in the world of science through demonstrations and experiments. How does light change our perception of what is right in front of our eyes? What happens when a liquid is put under pressure? Dry Ice Exploration, Fantastic Foam, and so much more.
