Show off your artistic talents in the fourth annual Carnegie-Stout Public Library Tiny Art Show! People of all ages and abilities are welcome. Artworks will display at the library during the month of July and a closing reception will be held on August 1. Participate in three easy steps:
1) Register to pick up a take-home kit with everything you need to create a mini masterpiece at home. (Kits are available for pickup beginning June 1.)
2) Return your finished artwork to the library by June 22.
3) Visit the library during the month of July to admire all of the beautiful, tiny art submissions. (Note: All art should be picked up between August 1-11.)
4) OPTIONAL: Use your own materials to create a tiny masterpiece that meets the 4” x 4” size requirement and bring it to the library by June 22. (No registration required for this option. Please note that the library reserves the right to exclude any artworks for any reason.)
PLEASE NOTE:
- KITS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP STARTING SATURDAY, JUNE 1. YOU CAN PICK THEM UP AT THE CHILDREN'S HELP DESK OR THE FIRST FLOOR RECOMMENDATIONS DESK.
- KITS ARE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS; YOU WILL CHOOSE BETWEEN CLAY OR PAINT WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR KITS. YOU CANNOT CHOOSE THE TYPE OF KIT IN ADVANCE.
